Our story

We are a tiny mother-daughter owned flower seed company based in Connecticut. Our mission, though, is to extend our impact far beyond the garden., one seed at a time. The Buckled Up Buttercup, LLC is committed to implementing a holistic approach in giving back and engaging with the local community in all we do, from sourcing, packaging, seed sales and beyond. Picked With Care

We offer only non-treated and non-GMO seeds, ensuring the flowers they produce are healthy and safe for both people and the environment. All of our seed varieties are perennials (they come back year after year), native to the area, and locally sourced. They have been selected for their ability to attract pollinators, adapt to a range of environments, spread quickly and for their hardiness, low maintenance, and companion properties making them less susceptible to disease.

Josie and I (Sara) harvested many of our seeds from Grandma Cathy’s garden. This is how we know they will be successful in your garden too - they have flourished for generations in our family!!
